Is a gas smell an emergency?

Why does one burner light but the others don't?

On many gas ranges, all burners share a spark module. If only one fails, the trouble is usually local — a fouled port, a cracked electrode, or moisture. If none light, we look upstream at the module or the wiring feeding it.

Can you fix a cracked glass cooktop?

The glass itself is replaced, not repaired. We check whether the crack reached the element wiring underneath, since that changes the job. Some cooktops have available replacement glass; older models may not. We tell you what we find before ordering anything.

My oven bakes unevenly. Is that fixable?

Often, yes. Uneven baking usually traces to a weak element, a convection fan that stopped turning, a worn door gasket letting heat escape, or a sensor reading off. We test actual cavity temperature against the setting rather than guessing.
